On Wednesday, the local cotton market remained consistent and the volume of trading was acceptable. Naseem Usman, a cotton analyst, stated that the price of cotton in Sindh ranges from Rs 19,500 to Rs 21,000 per maund. In Punjab, cotton costs between Rs 21,500 and Rs 23,000 per maund. In Sindh, phutti costs between Rs 7,000 and Rs 8,500 for 40 kg. In Punjab, the cost of phutti ranges from Rs 8,000 to Rs 13,000 for 40 kg. Balochistan charges between Rs 18,500 and Rs 19,000 per maund for cotton.
