Three memorandum of understanding (MOU) have been signed by the International Cotton Association (ICA) of the UK to recognise the
organisations' alliance and collaboration. Earlier this month, the Aid by Trade Foundation and its project Cotton Made in Africa (CmiA), the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol, and the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF), inked an MOU with the ICA (signed in 2021). According to a press release from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICA), these MOUs will encourage greater cooperation between organisations and allow them to work more closely on a number of shared goals, such as promoting the sanctity of contracts, training and visitation programmes, information exchange and dissemination, diplomatic initiatives, testing and quality issues.
