Due to increasing pricing and the limited lifting of fabrics, north India's use of polyester-cotton and poly spun yarn has declined. After the price of cotton and cotton yarn increased last week, non-cotton yarn increased by 5-8 per kilogramme. However, as mills concentrated on less expensive raw materials to minimise production costs, recycled polyester fibre gained support from better demand.
Trade sources claim that despite several mills cutting back on yarn production, demand remained still low. The price increase from the previous week made it more difficult to purchase PC and poly spun yarn. The weaving industry wasn't in a rush to make purchases. It demonstrates that they have enough inventory to meet the meagre demand from the apparel business.
Here you’ll find the best yarn and fabric suppliers Globally who can cater to your needs for practically all counts, major blends and fabric types.
